I’m on a merry-go-round called Time,
Trying never to waste a minute.
Yet now that my time is running down
How much have I accomplished in it?
I’ve tried to focus on things that last,
Though often failed to do what is good.
But let these words be my epitaph – –
The Lord said, “She has done what she could.”
